Functional skills support programme
A workforce development programme to prepare practitioners in pilot centres to be fully competent and confident to teach functional skills in English, maths and ICT in the pilot from September 2007. Support is available to all centres participating in the QCA pilot, including schools, colleges, WBL providers, offender learning and other centres. The programme is delivered in partnership with Secondary National Strategy (SNS).
