QIA is delighted to announce the shortlist for the 2007 STAR Awards. Held annually, the awards recognise and reward the unsung heroes of the further education system.
A panel of independent experts from the further education system met to assess each nomination against the Award criteria to agree a shortlist for each category. Judges were overwhelmed by the quality of nominations for this year’s awards so selecting the shortlist was not an easy task.
Shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend regional celebration events in October. The winners and highly commended for each of the 10 categories will be announced at the national Awards ceremony on 26 November at Old Billingsgate, London.
STAR winners will receive a cash prize and the opportunity to apply for personal and/or professional development funding from the STARlight fund.
