A programme improving quality in the teaching and learning of citizenship
QIA is funding a new post-16 citizenship support programme from autumn 2006. The new programme will help improve the quality of the sector’s work in giving young people the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to play an effective role in society at local, national and international levels. It will build on the original post-16 citizenship programme launched by the DfES in 2001.
