A programme to help the sector work successfully with employers and deliver high quality training.

For Sector organisations delivering Train to Gain and other providers whose mission is to respond to employer demand and meet the needs of employers, employees and the economy.
Cost Free
This new programme will help colleges and training organisations improve the quality of all their work with employers and employees. The programme aims to help all types of sector organisations to:
respond quickly and flexibly to the needs of employers
improve the quality of workplace delivery
deliver initial assessment and individual learning plans
make effective use of the assess-train-assess model
embed Skills for Life within vocational training
use the self assessment and development to improve responsiveness and provision
increase awareness of the implications of employer as a customer
improve partnership development
meet the needs of staff through developing and supporting high quality delivery of training
assist managers to change the organisation culture to facilitate a flexible response to employers
Launch events were held during October and were well attended by Train to Gain contract providers and providers engaged in employer facing work.
Details of new events are now available on the Development Programme website (see link below) so do make sure to visit the website regularly to keep up to date with the latest activities on offer.
A full prospectus is available on the website detailing how the Development Programme can help you build on your existing strengths and develop new skills in your employer facing provision.
The website also contains information on

- information on flexible learning resources.
The Interim Support Programme, which took place earlier this year, has already produced a range of materials, guides and information which can be accessed through the Development Programme website.
