All organisations must be committed to achieving excellence and finding new and more effective ways of meeting customers' needs. The Framework for Excellence will provide a means for colleges and providers to assess their performance.

Achieving excellence is as important for the national partners as it is for colleges and providers: the national partners need to be openly committed to achieving excellence and be responsive to the needs of customers and stakeholders.
