Principles of the Improvement Strategy

Simplifying, rationalising and increasing coherence

The rationale behind having an integrated Improvement Strategy is to align the many different activities and services of the agencies and of colleges and providers into a single coherent drive for excellence. Government and the national partners will continue to strive for ways to reduce bureaucracy, and the national partners will work with colleges and providers to take forward their proposals on self-regulation.
